playing in Myall Park, Queensland, Australia

So, upon my arrival in Brisbane on Oct. 17, I was whisked away by percussionist Vanessa Tomlinson and Eurythmist/Mover Jan Baker-Finch 5 hours west of Brisbane to Myall Park, a botanical garden where we stayed in a cottage for 4 days among raw nature, exotic birds and trees.  The sights, sounds, textures, air, wind, sun, sky, land was overwhelming.  I can’t begin to describe it with words. During the next few days I’ll be posting sounds and sights, thoughts and memories from our walks, talks, improvisations, and musings as a trio.

  1. Hey, those pix of you playing outdoors in the eucalyptus groves look like they could have been taken at UCSD!

    • oh no… you’re kind of right… I’ll upload some sounds so that you’ll really believe me! ;-))
