What a great day. I didn’t have to go anywhere on the subway, and the sun came out, so I explored my neighborhood by foot and enjoyed a relaxing day.

Remember this tree and clock tower from a previous post? The tree was bright yellow, filled with trees. Now, it's late Fall...

I finally explored behind the Waseda University clock tower and found this and the following...

sacred rock...

I could peak between the leaves and found this bell...

and this figure, looking at the bell...

...and there were yet 2 more "guardians"...

so then I decided to explore the city and found this shrine on my way to Takadanobaba...

It was complete with offerings of flowers, incense, candles...

...as well as water and some cute drawings too...

Taken last week on my way to the subway stop: Edogawabashi.

On my way, I walk along a river...The trees know how to stretch their branches down towards the river

...and the Fall colors illuminate the pathway...
